Keeping the thing alive

At the moment there's not been much happening on Wansbeck Road but watch for the future.

This is a none railway (well almost none railway) view down Station Road.

Wansbeck Road - Below, G5 0-4-4t 67305 draws into the platform on a local train. Bottom - J25 0-6-0 65712 shunting wagons.

Welcome to 'Wansbeck etc'. It simply provides a platform for me to publish some of the pictures that I and other people have taken of the models I produce for my own enjoyment. If you have happened upon this blog purely by chance then the pictures above are of a 2mm scale model railway called Wansbeck Road. These two pictures were taken by me during the preparation of an article for what is without doubt the leading model railway magazine in the British Isles, Model Railway Journal.
